Speckle-Throated Dragons are an active, playful breed. They are easily excited and rarely remain still, spending much of their time in the air. Living in groups of up to sixty dragons, they nest in open plains and at the bases of mountains. Their speckled throats are their most distinctive feature, as well as the loud, echoing call they produce to communicate with one another. Female Speckle-Throats are slightly smaller than males and lack a head crest. However, they are swifter and more agile and prefer to hunt in small groups in order to take down prey.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon is more of a nuisance than anything else, to be honest. However, she is a very eccentric nuisance who acts as a sort of novelty for any visiting dragons to observe. Unlike those who are actually productive within her clan, she spends her days cooped up in the cave mulling out a particular philosophical problem within her head—the problem of not being named. It is true that she has the luxury of actually having a name, but this doesn't stop her from pondering the problematic lack-of-a-name that she thinks she is afflicted by. While most dragons dismiss this situation as hopeless, those who actually care about what she has to say will soon learn that her complaint is not that she lacks a name—but that her name lacks a name! Apparently she genuinely believes that even names deserve names, and thus her name is an "unnamed name". This rather oxymoronic term has since become her nickname, as she refuses to be called by her actual name until it, too, is given a name.
