Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Brute dragon males had never really appealed to Prize. She earned her name by beating back the silly males who thought they'd won her. No, they had to beat Prize herself to win her favor. For the longest time none succeeded. One day though No One's Prize learned of a Black dragon called No One, as one foolish Royal Crimson made the mistake of assuming they were mated. After giving the Crimson some fresh scars, Prize went to hunt down this No One. It is not easy to get a useful answer to "Where do I find No One" or "I'm looking for No One." Finally though, Prize hunted No One down to his unassuming cave and challenged him. Stronger and sturdier than the Black, Prize seemed to have the advantage; yet the swift and clever Black would not let himself be overcome. The two fought for nearly a day before No One finally knocked out Prize. After the brute recovered she told No One she wanted to be his, and though surprised, he accepted the fierce brute. Her name gained a new meaning that day.
