Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Coa'ah is a brute, just as her breed's name suggests. Her horns are unnaturally large for a female of her kind, and she loves a good fight at any time. Always raring to go, Coa'ah fights in a very nontraditional way. She loves to use her wings, though not normally for flight. Rather, she uses their naturally higher stance to gain an edge over her opponent, smashing them down onto whatever opposes her, and uses the claws on them as knives to stab and crush the enemy between a literal rock and hard place. Her methods are especially effective when her opponent tries to jump at her from the side, as those who don't know her fighting style learn quickly and often too late that her wings have more power and speed in them than her claws and jaw. While generally kind enough to her family, Coa'ah still tries to egg them on into sparring with her when she's bored. The rest of the lair makes sure to keep her from the eggs and hatchlings, as her version of playing can be rough, sometimes dangerous.
