Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Phoenicopterruse is a large, usually passive Flamingo Wyvern who only enjoys the company of a few select others, namely those whom she considers intelligent and good conversation makers. Because of this, she can come off as cold and unwelcoming, although if one gets to know her and makes a good first impression, usually accomplished by complimenting her unusually bright coloring, she will soon begin to consider him or her intelligent and a good conversation maker and therefore welcome him or her into her social group. She is also very proud of her bony crest, which is larger than the crests of most other females. This large crest size makes her an excellent fighter when she is called to fight because it provides excellent defense from attack and so enables her to go more on the offensive rather than remain on the defensive. She is very loyal once she has made a friend and is willing to fight to the death to protect those she cares about. Fortunately, she has not had to do this yet.
