White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nikolaius is a dragon known in the Den for his cunning and sharp wit, as well as his intelligence. For instance, he chides LuxOmni for his love of human literature, stating quite flatly that LuxOmni's own draconic memory should be more than adequate for his own modest needs—such as they are.<br/>Aside from his scathing sarcasm and gruff manner (which he proclaims as a superior defence to claws, fangs or a dragon's other natural weapons any day), he is a very good and (mostly) patient teacher, and has shouldered the responsibility of giving the Den's hatchlings a basic education of the type needed by dragons (except, of course, for hunting). He would never dream of hurting anyone in any way... except perhaps to wound a misplaced sense of pride or self-importance. The other dragons of the Den may not necessarily care for the delivery, but Nikolaius' advice is valued by all of them.
