Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Amaya's name means "Night Rain". She is the first female breeding Royal Blue in Moonsoul's scroll. At first, there were two male Royal Blues in the scroll. Masao, and Shouta. Masao bred with a holiday dragon and had a daughter, named Himme. She could not be a breeding dragon since she was related to her father. Amaya is here to fill in the gap. But breeding isn't all she does. Amaya likes to collect things. She will make a nest of rocks, jewels, shiny man-made objects, she's even tried to steal metallic dragon eggs for her collection. Amaya likes to sort out the objects into different shapes, and attempt to make an artsy collage.
