Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Jittery and asocial but a meticulously careful craftsman, the Keeper of the Sand's Heart awes many who visit his territory, inspiring jealousy from others of his kind. However, his wonderful glass blowing skills do not come without cost; in order to become such a wonderful craftsman, he had to enter in the service of a Mageia Xenowyrm, who offered to teach him incredible skills if this dragon watched over the Xenowyrm's most precious treasure. None know anything about the treasure except for its name, the Sand's Heart, and it is rumored to always be at the center of the Keeper's creations, no matter what he makes. The price he paid for his skills is that he is indentured to the Mageia Xenowyrm for a long, indefinite period of time, which in his case, could very likely be forever.
