White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A good Samaritan in pretty much every way, Borealis is like a doctor of the dragon world. Anytime a hatchling gets a scrape or an ailment (minor or grave) and his tamer isn't able to help it without it struggling madly, Borealis uses his magic to help soothe and heal the youngster. He can also heal the minor cuts and scrapes inflicted upon his tamer by her rowdier dragons or hatchlings who panic and bit her when she's trying to examine them for ailments. Borealis is always seen with a long stick made of maple wood, though it's unknown if the stick itself has any magical properties. He is also a very patient and attentive dragon, allowing his tamer to capture his attention for quite a long time.
