Perhaps not. It seems to be active during the night.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Unlike many of the other Vampires in his clan, Weebles believes his Vampiric nature is a curse rather than a blessing. Perhaps it is that he may never see the sun, or the fact that being blood thirsty makes it extremely hard to make friends, but it is certain that Weebles has devoted his entire existence to finding a cure for his fanged form. In his experiments, he has managed to break both of his wings, sever his tongue, dull his fangs until they became unusable, and of course, prevent himself from aging. At this point he has no way of defending himself, and often relies on other Vampires to protect him despite their absolute hatred for him and his beliefs. For centuries he has been looking for ANY other species of dragon to accept him into their clan, but all results have failed due to his status. Even the chickens won't take him under their feathered wings.
