Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Lescruli, as a water dragon, spends most of her time basking in the temparate waters of a remote, snowmelt-fed mountain lake. Moderately territorial of her small 'kingdom', she drives off any predators who would tamper with the ample stocks of fish that share her waters. She tolerates visits from hatchlings that occasionally manage to find their way out of the nearby woody forests and into to her domain, though she never takes any real interest in them. Only recently coming into maturity, she still fears and detests older dragons who would seek her out simply for mating purposes.
