Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The Freani-eplith, or Friends of the Forest, are a guild that has sworn to protect the forest and all who pass through it. There are four "divisions" within the guild: The Guardians, The Cloud Guard, The Earth Guard, and The Bloodseekers.

The Earth Guard functions much like the Cloud Guard, just as a land unit. They rarely intervene in the affairs of humans and other dragons, preferring to simply observe and report back to the Guardians or the Leader.

Persephone, often referred to by the other members of the Earth Guard as "Seph", prefers quiet observation to idle chatter. Noruinir is one of the only dragons she actually talks to, mostly because he indulges her fascination with botany. Seph keeps a garden in a remote section of the forest called the Grove. Here, she tends to a wide variety of rare flowers and herbs. Mages occasionally attempt to raid this garden for potion ingredients. However, they are usually intercepted and driven away by Eglanion, the Guardian of the Grove.
