Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Except for the occasional flicker of movement, it remains inanimate.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Like a stone, Gorgul is frozen in time. However, unlike a stone, Gorgul shows an occasional flicker of movement. Gorgul stands perfectly still at the entrance of the cave, watching for danger by day. When night time comes, however, she causes all sorts of mischief around the cave. But, because she is always returned to her normal position by morning, no one can trace it back to her. She spends most of her time with Golem Heliostone, who has taken her in as if she was of his own kin.
