Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a pink cloud that follows it everywhere. You seem to be having more difficulty concentrating since it arrived.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Holemyaldot saw how much simpler and easier life was as a hatchling. They say he just stopped dreaming of growing up and decided to actively stay a hatchling forever. None of the dragons or any human psychologists can figure out how this effects his physical development but it does. They do all agree however, that it was a bad idea to take him to see "Peter Pan" that one fateful day.....
