Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Thontagd is a very wise dragon and serves as the medic of the clan. One day she hopes that she will be able to teach the other dragons to channel their innate magical techniques (unfortunately, this is a major if, because most other dragons show little interest in doing so). She became troubled one day as Irapul brought in a very bizarre egg. It was ice cold and she could feel an dark aura emanating from it. Thontagd immediately ordered Irapul to banish the egg from Shadow-singe castle (Thontagd never found out that Irapul merely hid the egg in a storage room and continued to incubated it from there).
