Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

BananaYGG likes the letter G, and when she's between banana-steals, she likes to explore the undergrowth for ALL the Gs's stash of the letter G. She absolutely loathes gul runes, though. They are, in her opinion, the worst letter across both the common script and dacrune. If there were no guls, then writers of dacrune would have to substitute Gs, so there would be more Gs and that would make things better. If she had one wish, though, she would wish that "banana" were spelled with a G. That would combine what she considers the two most important things in the world—and, make Yuck G go crazy! BananaYGG doesn't think the omen wyrm would be a serious threat, even if she were attacking bananas and not just letters. BananaYGG tried to maintain her own hoard of letter Gs, though ALL the Gs occasionally finds and steals it. Banana Cruz once proposed the title "Matcha Fig Alphabet", which was awarded to BananaYGG with eight votes. BananaYGG wishes there were more than one G in her title.
