Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Wyndwhisper comes from a very varied background, dominated largely by Blacks, Golds, and Vines. He is the product of a Skywing dam and a Water sire. His name was decided by his seclusive nature, as he fancies taking long, solitary flights over many days. Like the wind, he travels where he feels like going, and in many cases those travels take him over the open ocean. He prefers the wide, open air above the sea to any that can be found over land. As such, he is more inclined to fraternize with the recognized water-type breeds that have been raised within his adopted clan. So inclined, in fact, that he has been known to successfully court Deep Seas. In keeping with his solitary ways, Wyndwhisper does not participate directly with issues pertaining to his land-dwelling clan mates. Though an accepted part of their structure, one cannot deny that it is a very long-distance relationship he maintains with them.
