Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Vantius is a very proud dragon, and with good reason. He is the respected leader of a guild of fighting dragons called "The Fellowship of the Golden Touch", which takes contracts to solve all sorts of problems throughout the land, from bandits ravaging travelers, to nests of monsters terrorizing villages. Unlike similar human guilds, which require payment for services rendered, Vantius' Fellowship fills contracts simply for the love of adventure and the satisfaction of a job well done. However, Vantius is very picky about what contracts the guild takes, and abides by a strict code of honor. No shady dealings are tolerated, and Vantius personally expels any fellowship members caught committing a crime. He is known to be brave, strong and valorous, but also to be vain, short tempered and intolerant. He is also quite the ladies man, and has a large number of female fans among the local dragons.
