Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. He would like to join the Stripes of Hogwarts cult like his best friend Nikita Nightshade of Gryffindor. The cult doesn't allow it, because he has the wrong ancestors. Rising Red Times suspects they are lying and they would take him in if he were only stronger and larger.

The rejection is eating at Rising Red Times, and that means his mood tends to be very dark. Rising Red Times favourite pastime is to talk the Hellfire Wyverns of Laura-Lana's clan into burning something down, and then curling up nearby where he can watch the flames and bask in the heat.
