Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it...

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Tamara is rather small for a vine dragon, but she's no less aggressive! She'll fight relentlessly, and she uses her size to her advantage, slipping between legs and attacking the relatively less protected belly of her foes from below. She also digs and attacks from underground, popping up unexpectedly.

Despite her ferocity, she actually gets along quite well with Beek, who is about the same size as her. In fact, his small size is the ONLY reason she gets along with him, because she dislikes any and all who are bigger than her, though she now picks her fights more carefully after nearly getting killed by Raven.
