Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Turpentine Dragons are named for the oil that covers their scales. This oil resembles turpentine in odor and is mildly toxic; it will not kill but it burns to the touch and will cause illness in anyone who ingests it. Turpentine Dragons roam in large packs, often stealing food from larger dragons, though they are able to hunt for themselves if necessary. Many other breeds consider Turpentine Dragons to be pests, so they primarily breed among themselves.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
An exceedingly sneaky, clever little bugger of a dragon, this female works in tandem with her mate to snitch food from even the largest and most aggressive breeds of dragon. She'll saunter up in front of the intended victim--and then promptly go berserk, flailing about, foaming at the mouth, making off-color jokes and rolling in the dirt. While the other dragon stares perplexedly at her, wondering if she's rabid, her mate slips in and makes off with the food. In many ways her part of the task is more difficult than his, as the dragons she "entertains" might very well decide to kill her for being annoying--but despite his pleas that they switch roles, she insists on carrying on. After all, her job's the fun one!
