Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Once Rukun reached maturity, he was able to see spirits. At first, he could not tell that he was talking to spirits and other dragons thought him a bit strange. Rukun became friends with some spirits in the area and tried to introduce them to some dragons, but soon realized that the other dragons just thought he was crazy. This made him an outcast among the dragons in his area. Rukun later learned that he had a gift to see spirits. He uses his gift to help spirits get out of purgatory and get to the spirit realm. Rukun now travels the world to help all of the spirits that he can.
