Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Once there was a cactus plant that grew nearby the cave, and as a hatchling this dragon decided to claim it as his own.

As he grew, he would always go and sit next to the prickly thing, hissing and growling at it on occasion. He always found it strange that the plant never responded to his verbal musings, but the dragon didn't worry about that very much. And although the dragon was renowned for being extremely lazy and negligent, he managed to keep his silent, prickly friend alive. All was well, until the day the dragon grew into adulthood and found a mate who was just as irresponsible as him.

Together the pair managed to kill the cactus. Although it was technically more his fault than hers, especially considering it was he who decided it would be a good idea to dig the thing up and leave it on a rock for a month or two.
