Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A dragon with a highly distinguished heritage, Arazelus has inherited many of his father's traits, separating him from the average bluna. Preferring to stay to himself, he is a warrior in every sense of the word, and often the only times he goes to the company of others is when his father requires his strength. However, despite his skill at combat and reclusive nature, he is kind at heart and will not do battle with any but the most evil of beings. It is largely due to his actions that the area of sea in which he dwells is free from any creature that would seek to attack a ship.
