Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Iceflower is one of only two wild-born Solstices at the Breedery. She and her sister Fairy Lights were found during the Winter of Wishes—a time when, suddenly, dragonmasters began to find the eggs of many species of holiday dragon that had seemed extinct in the wild. For years, the eggs of these dragons had been available only from captive breeding. Lurhstaap was delighted to find them at last. With their branching golden horns and sunset-kissed wings, the Solstice sisters are a stunning vision—the prettiest winter twilight come alive in dragon form.

Iceflower is loving but shy, and feels intimidated by more powerful dragons. She likes to hide and watch other beings going about their lives. A sweet, compassionate being, she feels fondness for those she spies upon. Just after the winter solstice each year, she uses magic to conjure special gifts and blessings for every Breedery resident—even the scary ones. She tries hard to keep this a secret. She just wants to see others happy.
