Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Burning Runestone is a female Magi dragon who is the head librarian of the dragon library, formally known as "The HeroHorse Library of Dragonkind". She was the first librarian when it began as a small project. Now, however, the library has five librarians including Burning Runestone. She is an intelligent, hardworking dragon, even if she is a bit a strict.

The library is where Burning Runestone lives and is situated on an island in "The Dreaming Sea". The library looks similar to a small hill from a distance, since it is covered in grass. This island is close to the shore, where she travels when she wants to hunt. There are about four thousand books on the library's shelves and not even Runestone can list all of their names.

  Burning Runestone loves to read and likes to welcome others into the library. However, her magic is very powerful, and she is merciless in punishing dragons who mess, steal or fight in the library that is her home.
