Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Speedcrown is a racing dragon. She races many races and will play dirty to get what she wants. She is faster than all the male dragons in her master's cave. Speedcrown was found in the abandoned area as a hatchling. She was very skinny and scared and many dragons were racing towards her in order to catch her. A young male Glaucus Drake jumped to catch her, and he handed the trembling hatchling to his trainer.

Speedcrown sounds like birds and she loves racing. Her claws get scratched and she hates it. She loves to fly, but she runs faster. She likes birds and studies them with the two male Imperial Fleshcrownes from her trainer's cave. She has yet to find a mate who is as fast as she is.
