Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its scales are a radiant off-white color.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Clover was a radiant and bright dragon, very bright indeed. While his true name is Clover, people nicknamed him Radiant after his breed and energy. Now people call him RC, and he likes that because he has a more boyish name. When he was very young, feathers that he was required to have to fly came out. Eventually, he grew wings and could not fly with all his friends and they all made fun of him because of that. To put an end to this, his owner cast a spell on him that stopped the aging process, so that RC could have fun with all the new dragons who have not learned how to fly yet. He is now very sad when his new friends learn how to fly, but he is always finding new friends to play with, so he has lots of fun.
