Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Electric yellow scales shimmer brightly across its belly, and an even brighter spark adorns its tail.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sigma Shock was definitely an unpleasant surprise for his keeper. The little dragon crept up on Kangaroowings one day and refused to leave her alone after their first meeting. Sigma will pop up in the worst situations to only make them more confusing. This infuriates Kanga and drove her to ignore the hatchling, an act she rarely uses because of it's insensitivity. Kanga is still attempting to get a better understanding of Sigma because she believes this will make their relationship easier, but she is having no luck presently.
