White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Amalesh's name means "pure." He is a pure white dragon who likes to keep an eye on the others. He is just coming into his healing powers and is always ready to help someone who is hurt. He stays away from Dubhdara, who he finds abrasive. He often has to break up fights between the other dragons when Sapphire is not around. Shomera and he have a son in the cave called Omprakasa.
