Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Altough being younger than Vert she has the habit of protecting him every time he goes shy in front of anyone whether another of the hatchlings or dragons, this feeling of being protected gave Vert the confidence he now has, however, the habit goes on. This acts gave her some more sensitivity since before meeting him and having someone to protect, she was always rough at playing with the other hatchling Saphira. Her given title "the keeper" was not only for her protection of one of the smallest hatchlings but also that since she was born she takes pride on guarding the cave at night and day even if her other adults nestmates are there always protecting the other eggs andor hatchlings. When there are no eggs she always acts like a big sister to the hatchlings not letting them wander too far and always watching them and their surroundings for danger.
