Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Many people are unsure whether Tachigami truly exists. Out of all of the dragons in his family he is the most rarely seen. This is because he only appears at night and uses his magic to transform into a shadow, becoming one with the darkness. In this form he can easily enter buildings and pass unnoticed among the humans residing within.
This special technique has allowed Tachigami to enter employment as an assassin. The only humans who have seen his true shape are the messengers of kings and barons, who have enemies they wish him to dispose of. These messengers must be brave and quick witted, for a single insult will mean they are never heard from again.
The only time people know their house has been visited by Tachigami is when someone goes missing, but even then they are uncertain. He never leaves a single mark or clue behind, so many consider him to be a ghost or a demon rather than a dragon.
