When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Its no secret that Donghai is one of the largest living creatures in the sea, for his size has inspired many tales among man-kind. Many believe he is just a myth, and Donghai actually likes to keep it that way. Donghai would prefer to hide his existence, only revealing himself to whomever he or his followers find worthy. But his existence is only known to a handful of dragons, which he raised and trained to fight the evil that stalks the planet. However, if the world is truly in danger, and if even his followers were to fall in battle, Donghai would rise up from the mighty ocean and fight against the evil that haunted the earth...If they were near the ocean, of course.

But currently, Donghai slumbers beneath the waves, awaiting his time to either pass on to the other world, or fight evil once again.
