White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zlataisa, although well versed in the ways of healing magic, prefers to use natural remedies alongside her innate mystical powers.  Zlataisa believes that the healing power of the Earth Goddess far outstrips her own, so she seeks the Earth's assistance by gathering medicinal herbs and other natural ingredients to help treat wounds and ills.  This practice is unusual among  White Dragons, but it is intriguing to those who have noted the remarkable effectiveness of Zlataisa's medicine.  She is often called The Great Shaman, and is the mentor of Vienrie.
