Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Irreplaceable Daydream was a bit on the strange side of dragons. When she was a hatchling she took great interest in the nearby mountain range and commonly traveled to it. She enjoyed looping around the closet mountains to the cave everyday. She would never take a different path and could always find the one she created. There were other dragons roaming the mountain range so the older dragons tried to keep her away from the mountain to no avail. She always found some way to reach it.

Only a few weeks after being recognized as a grown adult did she ever reach the peaks of the mountains. Sacrifice Falconiform had a similar hobby to hers, meeting her on one of the mountains range. They've squabbled with each other ever since. When she first spoke to other dragons, it was shown she had a habit of speaking in constant riddles that exceeded what you'd call a sentence. To make things worse she speaks quickly. So far only Falconiform and Dreu are able to keep up with her way of speaking.
