Few dragons embody serenity and potential quite as perfectly as Avatars of Creation. They dedicate their abilities to the arts of healing and growing, and their shimmering scales seem to glow in accordance with their mood. The tendrils of an Avatar of Creation grow slowly throughout its life, and the longer the tendrils grow, the more potent its abilities become.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Starwrapper hatched in a large and beautiful grotto with her parents, and since then she has been worried about her appearance. She looked very different from her parents, and through some gossip she discovered she was a hybrid. Starwrapper hated this, even though her parents assured her she was very beautiful. Her parents were right, for many male dragons were stunned by her beauty and were vying for her love. Starwrapper wants nothing more than to get away from it all, by traveling the world like her father. Starwrapper's father is thrilled because of this, and trains her for the day when she may take his place as Santa's dragon helper.
