Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon lives near a steep cliff with a shallow slope down one side and deep waters below it. He does not enjoy clambering all the way up to the top of the cliff, but he does it because he loves diving off into the deep waters below. He contorts mid-air into different positions, giving onlookers an amazing show.

The local humans will often dive alongside of him, trying to shadow his positions. If they ever land in the water badly, he scoops them onto his back and helps them to shore; otherwise, he swims circles around them and plays splashing games as they swim back to head up the cliff once more.

Only twice has he ever allowed a human to ride as he dove off the cliff. Each time the human was injured by his forceful impact with the water, so now he does not let anyone try to ride him while he dives.
