Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Anat is one of the oldest river dragons. She lives in the great Antu River, and Anat maintains the entire river as her territory despite the fact that it's the largest river in Adara. Due to her fierceness, the local people revere her as a goddess of war, and also of fertility, for she causes the Antu to flood every year that they might live. People along the Antu make her regular offerings, including maidens every fifty years. They believe she eats them to maintain her power, but she really takes them to caves in the depths below, where they serve as her acolytes.
