Gold-horned Tangars are a brightly colored tropical breed. They are primarily herbivores, and eat a wide variety of fruits and flowers in addition to the occasional bird. Tangars are well suited to life in the trees; their slender bodies make them light enough to be supported by thinner branches and agile enough to avoid obstacles while flying. Their brightly colored horns, found in both males and females, are used to attract mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mivvit is the closest that the Karev Entertainers have to a leader, mostly because nobody else wanted the job.  He's the one who must keep the whole eclectic, erratic, eccentric group under control, a task demanding enough to fray even his calm disposition.  Mivvit also hosts the group's monthly variety show, and must keep his calm in front of the guest dragon and the audience while attempting to quell the mayhem that invariably erupts behind the scenes.  Even when flailing arms and wings in mixed exasperation and frustration at the latest crisis, Mivvit remains fundamentally sweet-natured and kind, rarely losing his temper at anyone and always apologizing when he does.  He's liked by the entire group, especially the red dragon Oghava (who is determined for the two of them to become mates).  It might not be easy being (mostly) green, as it's hard not to blend into the scenery, but Mivvit still manages to stand out in a crowd.
