Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Rescued and considered a little brother by Acanthus, Corvinus has always been... odd. Like his 'brother', Corvinus was abandoned as an egg, dropped in a remote forest to die. He did not, though, his egg somehow survived to hatch, even if he was tiny and unlikely to survive much longer. It was thanks to a local nest of magpies that he survived, his jet-black scales and white belly looking familiar enough for them to feed the hatchling as if it were one of their own.

It was Acanthus who first found the dragon, still living with the magpies, and it took nearly two years to convince Corvinus to join the Legion. Now that he has, he is always accompanied by one of his nestmates, and will always return to the nest when it is time for new chicks, hoping to see one like himself.
