Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

And look! Its wings have grown, and it’s become rather vicious and wary of others of its kind.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

TOO MUCH FREEZING indeed thinks that there is too much freezing going on. He points out to the fact that over 50 dragons in his clan are frozen dragons, versus only about 500 in total. "That's too much," he would often say. "That's over one tenth." Still, nobody seems concerned, except for the ice dragons, who are worried that he will drive them out of business. Whenever he tries to raise his concerns in clan meetings, they quickly and swiftly move in with propaganda claiming that freezing is "cool" and that it helps dragons "chill out" (quite literally). Nobody really knows why TOO MUCH FREEZING is so opposed to freezing, especially because most of the frozen dragons aren't bothered by their condition, and it has, indeed, saved some lives. Perhaps it's because he is a hellfire wyvern, and they naturally dislike the cold, but whatever the reason, he does seem to get quite fired up about it. And recently, he's had a new reason to complain: he himself has been frozen too, unfortunately.
