Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The entire brilliant evolutionary strategy of this species of dragon is to protect young born at any time of the year with appropriately themed camouflage. So it was that, born in the autumn months, this dragon took on the distinct brown hue of falling leaves. Except there was one teensy, weensy problem...

Winter had come early, and everything was smothered in WHITE!

Enraged beyond reason at this seasonal betrayal, the young fall dragon spent much of her childhood brooding, despite her parents' pleading attempts to reason with her and point out that every other seasonal dragon born that month was having the exact same issue. Taking not a single word of theirs to heart (well, except for knowing where to find a good source of like minded peasants for her army, she guesses), she has grown into a young adult with an undying grudge against winter, screaming vows of vengeance and making it her life's work to destroy every stupid winter decoration she sees.
