Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The dragon twists and curls, doing flips in the air, soaring and gliding, dancing among the clouds, putting on a wonderful show. A beautiful song comes from deep within her throat and it travels through the air for miles. Everything that hears it looks up to see the dolphin in the sky. She basks in her element until the sun finally falls below the horizon and then she swoops down into the cave. Now on the ground she doesn't seem nearly as graceful, but nonetheless she waddles with her head high and a cheery aura surrounding her. Finally Cerulean Falcon curls up with the silver dragon that is her mate. The two exhausted creatures, one from flying, the other from hunting for the two of them, fall asleep, but in peace.
