Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bo's Lightning Lord is so named because of his complete control over the making of storms. Though he is actually of the Dorkface lineage, he considers the name offensive and fought so that his name did not include the term. Bo's Lightning Lord is not easily angered, and only conjures up storms when asked by the Ruler Of The Skies, a wild skywing dragon named Zephyr. However, the Ruler Of The Skies often gives Bo's Lightning Lord permission to stir up a little thunder once in a while, so the skies can "unleash their anger". Bo's Lightning Lord was once a DarkMagic user, casting evil spells upon dragon clans, but was changed when he met Zephyr in a dream. Now he has vowed to never use DarkMagic again.
