Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. DarkSecret is a swift Black Dragon, full of mischief. He tends to keep to the shadows and is very cautious for a Black Dragon. He spends about a quarter of his time out scouting and spying, bringing back all sorts of odd and sometimes useful intelligence. He has almost lost his life numerous times, and has been captured, tortured, and ransomed multiple times. He's lucky that his cave has been powerful enough and wealthy enough to ensure his safe return, so far. Though he is a very important part of his cave's defense, he isn't very popular there. He tends to be arrogant and conceited, which puts most dragons off. He also has been known to eavesdrop on dragons in his own cave, learning many secrets. Of course, he'll only share his wealth of information...For a price.
