Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Snowy Silver Whispers is a silver tinsel dragon. She has a metallic, shiny body and she is, according to many males of her clan, very beautiful. However, she is modest and she doesn't use her looks to get what she wants. Rather, it is her kindness and gentleness that has won over many of her suitors. Snowy Silver Whispers came from a clan in the far north, where a magi dragon of that clan teleported her to her current one. She was adapted to the cold, and she still finds tropical temperatures extremely uncomfortable. Often, she can be found in her clan's alpine camp, where she sits in deep thought, trying to find more about her old clan. She can sometimes be seen scrawling a mysterious word in the ground, 'gjhhhhhh', although no one knows what it means. She herself does not exactly know, but she has a feeling it is somehow connected with her mysterious past. Her mate is The Limerian Christmas, a festive, gentle gold tinsel that came from her old clan.
