Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Born to a most esteemed pair of parents, Hevero's success in life was all but guaranteed. Sharp-minded, strong in build, and possessing a noble and rich ancestry to support him, he traveled the world teaching others of medicine and justice, wanting nothing more than to help others.

...But he did not always find his kindness returned.

On one most fateful day, his travels led him into a nightmare; a place where young dragons were stolen from their homes and sold as "pets" to rich humans. Without hesitation he rushed into one such ring of slavers, freeing a young blue stripe named Smethywk--only to find himself captured in the other's stead.

Many years have passed since then--long, cold years in a cage, the gentle dragon viewed as nothing more than a beast to be gawked at. He will find no freedom from his own efforts. Yet always he hopes, prays, waits for the day someone will save him and all the others enslaved by his side...
