Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s brightly colored and chirps quite often.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Amajeaga is a flighty young dragon. Always excited, she flies with the grace of a Skywing. She doesn't seem to understand the seriousness that life as a dragon can be, treating hunting as no more than a game. This is probably due to the fact that many of the older dragons took to her immediately, and all of them indivually mothered and spoiled her. By the time that it became apparent that she wouldn't grow up, and should immediately begin to try to blend in with the crowd of other magicked hatchlings, she was firmly convinced of her own importance. The childish hatchling believes that she is vital to the inner workings of the cave. This misconception has done some good, however. Ama spents much of her time running errands for and helping the elder dragons, with a serious look on her small face. Perhaps someday she will settle down and become more mature.
