Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Lunaris Roset Lune is a very joyful dragon. Sometimes her joy blocks out the sense in her. All though she has not grown wings of her own, everyone knows she is a female because of her voice and personality. Lunaris spends much of her time at Kibrae's lake watching other dragons fly. Sometimes she wishes that she had her own wings, but she is content on the ground where she belongs.
