Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
With her collection of dark green dragons growing around her house, acting as barriers to keep most people away, the enchantress considered the thought of letting the hatchling go unnamed when she received him from a kind stranger.
Until the day of the incident when the hatchling suddenly went missing.
It took a day of looking around, and when she found him, she also found a name that was fitting.
Mandragor, derived from the name Mandragora. A plant that once made man cautious of its roots, as they believed its uprooted screams will kill anyone who hears it.
It was actually just the hatchling roaring squeakily when he was pulled off from the rich soil, since the witch was already wary of these dragons burrowing deep into her garden. After dealing with both snapping teeth and hysterical wriggling, she placed him along with her other dark green dragons that rooted themselves a few distances away around her home, thanking the gods that her fingers were still complete after the ordeal.
