Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Miigipacif Moongazer is the Chief Keeper of the Scrolls. He specializes in history and astrology, as well as herbal medicine. He has a love of hatchlings and often will foster ones who he finds have quiet and contemplative natures like he does.

His dragon-name of Miigipacif loosely means 'carefree' although others may translate it as 'cracked-egg', or 'scrambled brains.' He was given the name Moongazer for the long hours he spends watching the night sky in quiet meditation.
